The Human Rights Commission can assist you in the following situations:
The complaint is consistent with the Charter of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of the Constitution of Seychelles,
the Charter of the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other applicable instruments in the field of human rights law.
The complaint provides a factual description of the alleged violation/s
The complainant has not received redress for the complaint
Where adequate means to redress the complaint are available, and the complainant has exhausted all of these, and
Where the matter is not currently under consideration by any other organization, Ombudsman, Court or Tribunal.
