How your complaint will be dealt with

Once the complaint is received by the Commission, it is evaluated using the Complaint Handling Guidelines to ensure that it does in fact fall within the mandate of the Human Rights CommissionShould the Commission feel it does not fall within its mandate, the individual will be guided to the appropriate institution, or advise them on another course of action.
